Biography
Dr. Conrad is a Professor of Radiology and staff interventional radiologist at the University of California, San Francisco and Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center, San Francisco’s only level 1 trauma center and primary safety net hospital. Along with Steve Hetts MD, he is the Co-Director of the UCSF HHT Center. Dr. Conrad’s clinical and research interests include the management of pulmonary AVMs, specifically recurrent PAVMs, and liver AVMs. Outside of HHT, Dr. Conrad’s interests include pulmonary artery interventions for acute and chronic pulmonary embolus, and endovascular interventions for trauma. Dr. Conrad lives in San Francisco with his wife Megan and 3 children. He enjoys being a dad, sailing, sea kayaking, and fishing.
