Biography
Dr. Claire Kaufman is a board certified interventional radiologist at the Pacific Northwest HHT Center of Excellence and the Dotter Interventional Institute at Oregon Health & Science University . She performs a wide variety of interventional radiology procedures including vascular and non-vascular interventions. Her clinical and research interests include vascular malformations, and hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia. She completed medical school at Boston University School of Medicine followed by a surgical internship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. She went on to do her radiology residency at Yale New-Haven Hospital where during her final year she served as chief resident. After residency, she moved across the country to San Diego to compete a fellowship in Interventional Radiology at the University of California San Diego. When not at work Dr. Kaufman is an avid runner, horseback rider, and enjoys spending time outdoors exploring the Pacific Northwest with her family and dogs.
