Registration

Q. What are the registration rates and categories?

Early Bird rates are available until July 15, 2024. Categories include Delegate, Non-Delegate, Trainees, Patient/Patient Association, and Virtual Only options, with rates increasing after the Early Bird deadline. Click here to register.

Q. What does the registration fee include?

In-person attendees get access to all sessions, conference meals, the Welcome Reception, and the Gala Dinner. Virtual attendees will have access to all sessions streamed and recorded.

Q. How can I cancel my registration, and what is the refund policy?

Cancellations must be made in writing to Cure HHT by August 15, 2024, for a 50% refund. No refunds after this date. Hotel cancellations are subject to the hotel’s non-refundable policy.

Accomodations

Q. How can I book my hotel room, and what are the rates?

Attendees must book through the provided link to access special rates. Rooms must be reserved by August 14, 2024. Rates for Single, Double, and Triple rooms are provided, with the discount code PULLCAN2. https://www.pullman-mandelieu.com/en/

Q. What is the hotel cancellation policy?

Bookings are non-refundable and must be paid in full upon reservation. Additional details on check-out times and policies are available through the hotel’s general terms.

Q. Can I extend my stay with the discounted rate?

Yes, you’re able to book your accommodation at the discounted rate for up to 3 days before and after the official conference dates using the code PULLCAN2.

Q. What happens if I need to cancel my hotel?

With the no-refund policy due to the 2024 Olympics, we highly recommend that attendees get travel insurance for protection. Many travel credit cards have built-in insurance (Capital One VentureX, Chase Sapphire Reserve, etc.) To purchase travel insurance separately, go to Travel Insurance – Affordable Plans Starting at $27 | Allianz Global Assistance.

Q. What’s the best way to get from the airport to the conference venue?

Options include taxis, rideshare apps, or public transportation.

Q. Are there visa requirements for traveling to France for the conference?

Visa requirements for traveling to France vary based on your country of citizenship. Citizens from EU, EEA, Switzerland, USA, Canada, Australia, Japan, South Korea, and New Zealand can typically stay for up to 90 days without a visa. For attendees from other countries, please consult the French consulate or embassy in your country for visa application details and requirements.

Q. Can the conference assist with letters of invitation for visa applications?

Q. What should I know about health insurance while in France?

Visitors are advised to have travel health insurance that covers medical expenses in France. Check if your current policy applies abroad or consider purchasing travel insurance.

Q. Is there any specific advice for international travelers regarding currency exchange or payment methods in France?

Euros are the currency in France. Credit cards are widely accepted, but it’s wise to have some cash. Currency exchange can be done at airports, banks, or currency exchange offices.

Abstract Submissions

Q. How do I submit an abstract, and what are the guidelines?

Abstract submissions are open until April 30, 2024, through the Cure HHT Research Network Hub. Guidelines include language, format, and submission preferences.

Q. If I submit an abstract, do I have to attend the Conference?

It is expected that at least one author of the accepted abstract attends the meeting to present the work and answer questions. Only abstracts of registered participants will be scheduled in the Scientific Program.

Q. I have submitted an abstract, when will I know if it has been accepted?

All submitters will receive notification of abstract acceptance and presentation type by June 1, 2024.

General Questions

Q. What is the dress code for the conference?

The conference recommends business casual attire for attendees. This ensures a professional yet comfortable environment for all participants.

Q. What is the dress code for the gala dinner?

The conference recommends business casual to cocktail attire for the gala dinner. Please make sure you bring your name badge as well so we can check you in!

Q. Will my US electrical devices work in France?

In France, electrical outlets are Type E with a standard voltage of 230V, which differs from the US’s Type A/B and 120V. Travelers from the US will need a plug adapter for compatibility and, for devices not supporting 230V, a voltage converter is necessary to ensure safe use of your electronics.
