COVID-19 Travel Requirements
Cure HHT will implement health-and-safety protocols appropriate to the public health circumstances existing at the time of the conference. Protocols will be announced as soon as possible and will be available on the conference website.
Entry to Portugal:
Beginning July 1, 2022, COVID entry requirements have been lifted. A negative COVID 19 test, certificate of vaccination or a certificate of recovery is no longer required in airports, borders, air and sea travel.
However, Private carries may have different rules. We recommend all US. citizens to contact the airline/ cruise company for additional travel information before boarding.
Specific information for Madeira and for the Azores archipelago is available on visitportugal.com. Currently, there are no restrictions to access airports, ports and marinas in Madeira and the Azores.
Travelers returning to the United States:
Beginning at 12:01 a.m. EDT on June 12, 2022, the CDC order requiring all persons aged two and above to show a negative COVID-19 test result or documentation of recovery from COVID-19 before boarding a flight to the United States, is rescinded.
At 12:01 a.m. EDT on June 12, 2022, the CDC will no longer order air passengers to show a negative COVID-19 test result, or show documentation of recovery from COVID-19, prior to boarding a flight to the United States.
